All services and products are itemised, meaning that we do not offer Packages. This ensures you choose what really suits you.

Couples who book Jem for six, or more, hours on their wedding day receive a complimentary Pre-wedding Portrait at your choice of location and a one hour slideshow session to enjoy the photos.

We don’t lock you into packages but a Bundle Offer (5% discount) is available to those couples who select four, or more, services and products.

Some helpful wedding photography information…

Wedding costs can add up, but allowing only 1.5 hours, or less(!), in between your ceremony and reception will cost you some fun on your day. Generally you need time for Family photos as well as Bridal Party photos and travelling to locations. Most importantly, however, is that the time between your ceremony and reception is not just for photos. It’s that little bit of time for the two of you to enjoy one another’s company as newly-weds without the crowds! Hair, makeup and tanning trials are highly recommended. This will eliminate any worries about you could react to products but also provide you with an exciting preview of how you’ll look on your day. Traditionally a bouquet was used to mask the smell of Brides who were lucky to bathe once a week! These days many Brides like to carry a bouquet as it can hide nervous fidgety hands. If you don’t think you’ll be nervous, save some money by buying a smaller bouquet and have it arranged in a vase at the ceremony. Or wear a contemporary wrist corsage. Portraits

Portraits are invaluable. They record a specific time in your life, creating keepsakes to share forever. Jem’s aim with a portrait session is to provide you with a memorable experience whilst capturing your character beautifully in an image.

Portrait Sittings are just $129 for up to four people. Photography should be a gift available for all and Jem prides herself on being accessible to everyone, so for larger groups and special occasions please contact Jem for a personalised quote.

If you are expecting a little bundle of joy, please contact Jem regarding the Family Folio. This special offer is $285 which includes two portrait sittings (one when pregnant and one with your newborn) and $50 credit towards re-prints. This offer includes postage of any products purchased, which saves time for busy parents.

These are some of the products which allow you to enjoy your priceless memories.

Jem visits you for your portrait sitting and travel is included (unless outside the metro area when a $40 fee may apply). Families often choose somewhere they have an attachment to, like a favourite picnic destination or Sunday afternoon sport spot.

Newborns are best photographed in the home where they are warm and a change of outfit is close by! Babies under nine months are best photographed in a familiar place so their attention is easier to attract. Whatever the occasion or age, we’ll spend an hour or so together taking photographs and having fun!

Commercial

Jem has extensive editorial and corporate photography experience. Jem was the staff photographer for the WA Business News in 2007, photographing a range of subjects including the prestigious 40 under 40 Awards, food, real estate and corporate portraits. Subjects of note are Alexander Downer, John Poynton and Andrew Forrest.

Commercial photography is reasonably priced at $195 per hour. Depending on you photographic needs (number of portraits needed and job brief etc…) a half day rate and a full day rate are also available.

All costs include photography on location, post production and delivery of the edited product on disk. There is no travel fee within the metro area. If you require a Studio look, for your convenience the studio will be brought to you. This mobile fee is $155 per session.
