Jem has earned her Bachelor of Science from the University of Western Australia. After graduation Jem traveled, worked and photographed overseas for two years. On returning to Perth, she returned to study, pursuing her passion, photography. Jem achieved an Advanced Diploma in Applied Science, Photography, from Perth’s Central TAFE.

Jem is a full member of the Australian Institute of Professional Photography (www.aipp.com.au). Membership is available to professional photographers who guarantee the highest standards of competence and business ethics in the industry. Jem’s unobtrusive, photojournalistic style has been professionally acknowledged with a Silver award in the Australian Institute of Professional Photography 2008 Awards.
